Rodeo Ranch > What is a Rodeo Bible Camp?

Rodeo Bible Camps are a unique blend of Biblical teaching and rodeo instruction. These summer camps are geared to help the youth develop their people skills, rodeo skills, and living skills and have a great time doing it.

In order for each child to gain the most during the camp, we limit the camp to 30 cowboys and cowgirls.

Every instructor is either a professional or college champion. We specialize in the timed events of rodeo. Cowboys learn tie down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, and breakaway roping. Cowgirls learn barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying,  team roping, and breakaway roping.

We use state-of-the-art equipment to teach steer wrestling before we progress to live steers.

The schedule includes special speakers, small group discussions, singing, good food, fun times and activities, rodeo instruction, and a rodeo at the end of camp.  All campers are required to attend all scheduled activities.  Camp will end following the presentation of awards after the rodeo.

You should bring:  jeans, boots, long-sleeved shirts, tennis shoes, shorts, bathing suit, beach towel, toiletries, sleeping bag, pillow, and don't forget your horse!  (Bring your own feed and hay.)

Remember:  you will not be allowed to participate without proof of medical insurance.

Get ready and come prepared for a great time, physically and spiritually.  Our camp theme this year is "PRCA"--People Representing Christ Always.

Our Scripture thrust is I Timothy 4:12...."Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe."
