The Brand of the Cross Rodeo Bible Camps are a unique blend of biblical teaching and rodeo instruction. These summer camps are geared to help youth develop their people skills, rodeo skills, and living skills and have a great time doing it. We specialize in teaching the timed events of rodeo. Every instructor is either a college champion or a professional.
In order for each child to gain the most during the camp, we limit the camp to a total of 30 cowboys and cowgirls. Cowboys learn calf roping, team roping, chute dogging, and steer wrestling. We use state-of-the-art equipment to teach steer wrestling before we progress to live steers. Cowgirls learn barrel racing, goat tying, pole bending, breakaway roping, and team roping.
You should bring jeans, boots, long-sleeved shirts, tennis shoes, shorts, bathing suit, beach towel, toiletries, sleeping bag, and pillow. The BOTC Canteen is available for campers to purchase snacks, drinks, and BOTC merchandise.
Each camper is responsible to provide proof of medical insurance with your registration form. Each form MUST be signed by a parent or legal guardian. You cannot be allowed to participate without adequate medical insurance. And please let us know if the camper has any food or related allergies.
And don't forget to bring your horse. Owner must present a valid negative Coggins test (less than 6 months old) prior to unloading any horse at the BOTC Ranch. We'll feed you, but you need to bring your own feed and hay for your horse.
The schedule includes special speakers, small group discussions, singing, good food, fun times and activities, swimming, rodeo instruction, and a rodeo at the end of camp.
Every camper is required to attend all scheduled activities. Camp ends following the presentation of awards after the rodeo.
Come prepared to have a great time, physically and spiritually.
Our Scripture thrust is I Timothy 4:12...."Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe."
